Hi Anne, This is kind of my experience. However I find that, if I create activities fr apps they remember the hotspots. They might not remember wether to monitor or not but the actual place is remembered as long as it has data in it. For example, in itunes I have hotspots in the lcd section to monitor progress of sync of iphone and this works pretty well.
