Is it my imagination, user error, or both? I am growing increasingly frustrated
this morning with my inability to open documents quickly from Spotlight or from
the Documents folder.
Before, I would search for a title or phrase, find it with Spotlight, and open
it. Alternatively, I would choose a document from the documents folder, open
it, and no problem.
Now, unless I go into Text Edit, hit open, and use the list to locate my
document, or type in a title, I get all sorts of nonsense to slog through,
rather than a quickly opened file.
For example, when using Spotlight, clicking on a file brings up the Spotlight
preferences menu. When choosing a document in the documents folder, I get a
tool bar, search, and all the weirdness that comes up lately when I try opening
a bookshare book in Safari. Can anyone shed any light on this or tell me what
the heck I can do to get things back to some semblance of normalcy? Thanks.
Christine
