Actually, I think it goes like this: Suppose you toggle the sidebar on. The 
tool-tip or hint that shows to a sighted person when the mouse hovers over it 
will say "hide sidebar" because a button is being activated and the hint is how 
the button is labeled. This is my particular theory. :)
