YOu'd normally invoke DFU mode when an iOS device is connected to iTunes. In 
this case, iTunes will tell you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. 
Also, all regular functions of the device aren't available. The device hasn't 
fully booted into iOS, so for example VoiceOver on the device won't be active.
