The AI Squared group recently released a version of ZoomText for the Macintosh.
I have not seen much about it but I did use ZoomText on other platforms for
several years with IDE's, so it is very probabable that it could help you on
the Macintosh side.

When I used it for code development, I used a 50/50 screen split where the
bottom of the screen was magnified 2 or 3 times normal and the top of the
screen was normal size though perhaps with reverse video or some color
subtitutions. In suites that did not use the standard color configurations I
sometimes had to do more work to substitute close colors for ones that were
more distinct.

It is a fairly expensive program if it does not provide you what you need, but
I believe there are trial versions.

Best wishes,

Jonathan
