Not only did I say that guy was sighted, I also said that I currently didn't
have a Mac. So, having said that. I can't speak on it's accessibility with
it. However, as so aptly pointed out by Danny. Considering the price of
audacity & if you do have a Mac. Give it a whorle & let us know about the
accessibility...

They did improve accessibility this year I believe but how much I'm not
sure. You can certainly use it with VO now.

Might want to check out Daniel J. Louis's Audacity to Podcast. I do know
that he is a Mac user, however, his podcasts are very general in nature &
about every 5th eppisode is devoted to doing something with audacity so
you'll have to go back trhough his back catelog & see if he answers any
of your questions there. Also, he is a sighted user of audacity & this
perhaps mmay be a deal breaker for you. However, his content can be very
interesting to listen to.
