Hi Jean,

If you set up both your iPhone and Mac to use the same Apple ID with iCloud,
then you can easily sync the Contacts on your Mac over to the iPhone through
iCloud. I'm a much faster typer on the Mac than on my iPhone so when entering
large amounts of contact info, I simply enter it on the Mac and it
automatically syncs over to my iPhone. Also, I can make changes on the iPhone
and it will automatically sync those changes over to the contact info on my
Mac. So, just one Contact database editable from both devices. The main thing
that I play with in the Contact app on the iPhone is setting specific
ring-tones and text-tones for important people so I can recognize them easily
from the noise made when they contact me.
