Hello Shaf,

In Pages, the table will just show up as a highlighted space. If you can locate 
it, you can either go to the Format menu and down to the Table submenu where 
you select Convert table to text, or you can select the table, open the 
Inspector (Cmd-Option-i, select the Wrap inspector and set the object placement 
to Floating. Your table will then appear as a separate object on the page, and 
you'll be able to read and edit it.

In Pages, you should never use Quick Nav, just use the arrow keys without the 
VO keys if you want to be able to select objects such as tables.
