Heya

IFTTT is basically a notifications site. Take for example an RSS feed.
If you put the URL of that feed into the "if" part,  you can tell it
"what" to do. For example, send a tweet everytime there's a new update
on the feed, send an SMS to your phone, send somebody an email, etc.
That's basically it.
