Hi, It does work, but if I were you I would go back to your funder and request something else. I teach the bc640 and it's the bain of my existence. The dots fail all over the place and the support is abominable. Some of my resellers won't even sell it because the cost to support it isn't worth the markup.
Now I'll have probably offended some users who have a bc640 and love it, and haven't had their one unit fail, but After seeing 10 or 15 of them in the last 3 years with about %50 attrition, I can't keep on recommending them. Especially with the braille edge and the brailliant BI available. Even a focus blue would be better than an alva.
