Hi all: About merging cells, they are still there, fortunately. To complete the process, one needs to Control Click to get an onscreen menu. If we select the cells we want to merge and Control click, the context menu shows up and we can navigate down to the Merge Cells option. About the hot keys for setting paragraph stiles, I am afraid they have really gone away. Hope it helps!
