HI. I am in list view and had no problem moving a file. Here is how I do it.
1 locate the file you want to move. 2. press command c 3. navigate to the folder you want to paste the item in to 4. open the folder and press command option v. I have found that opening the folder is more accurate than just being on top of it. I hope this helps.
