Not true. There are thousands of free ePub books available on the Internet if you are willing to just look for them, and those of us who self publish our own writings usually create drm free eBooks that can be read with such a program.
I am not saying that Q-Read for the Mac will be the only solution for this type of thing but as of right now I don’t of any other programs that do this that are completely accessible.
