Have you checked to see if there's an update to MacTubes; I think you have to go on the web and look for it. One time when I had MacTubes problems, there was an update I didn't know about. I do notice with the vrsion of MacTubes I have, it will play but then when I close the window I get told the video won't play and have an option to open my browser. I haven't gone looking to see if there's an update yet since I can't see the video part anyway so I don't much care if I'm only getting the audio when I download.
