Hi, Sorry, I can't test this right now as I don't have anything similar anymore, but, usually, they can just be drug off the Favourites bar. For the sighted user, it's kind of a flick thing, just grab ahold of the Mailbox you wish to remove and flick it off of the bar. As long as the mouse is released outside of the Favourites bar, it should be removed. I've done this sort of thing in the past using half VO and this same sort of thing. I would navigate to the one I wanted gone, Interacted with it, routed the mouse to the VO cursor with VO-cmd-f5 then used my Trackpad and drug it off a little and released. It should still work but if you have problems, your husband should be able to do it using the method I mentioned.
