Hi all,
For browser compatibility, we needed a GIF for the logo on the
webpage
(grumble grumble) - I'd much prefer an ARGB PNG, but anyway.
When I converted the original to a GIF, it had horrible jaggies, and
was
totally unsuitable. So I added a white border & merged down, which
gave
a similar effect to the old logo of smoothness and transparency.
It's
not perfect, and perhaps a designer can do better than I.
Here's that logo, and the original ARGB png.
