(2) is very cool. There's a third option: a 'council' blog on
maemopeople.org. Not as cool as (2), but better than (1), perhaps.

PS. It's worth pointing out that the council have decided on their first
action: council discussions will, in general, be held on -community
with a "[Council]" tag in the subject line.
