I was wondering if the community beta testing of PR 1.1 is considered as good thing/success from Nokia's perspective and worth repeating?
As a selected tester I was happy to have a sneak peak but I also thought some feedback could help to finetune the release. Sadly the released firmware is exactly the same one we tested so no PR1.1 specific bugs were fixed.
Is this because none of them was considered critical or it was not planned at all (this time)? Will it be different next time?
Personally I think the bug https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7432 can cause some confusion and was a good candidate worth fixing before PR1.1 release. But let's not discuss this specific one. I am asking more about the process and idea behind it.
