Hi
Thanks for your advices! I found and installed XFree86-Xnest-4.2.0-72.i386.rpm
for my RH8.
Now my Xnest can start. But the scratchbox can't export display to it.
Blow is what I do and what the console displays. Does anybody have some
suggestions on this?
BTW:
My Gnome is running on 16bit color mode which I think is ok for maemo.
I already created /home/Avdpro/MyDocs/ folder, but I don't have these
files (like video1.mpg).

Hi,
Which RedHat version do you use?
I'm using RH9 clone and Xnest is included into the distro:
whereis Xnest |cut -f2 -d' ' |xargs rpm -qf
XFree86-Xnest-4.3.0-2.90.55
I think Xnest can be easily found for at least RH from 7.1 to 9 and FC.
Package name is XFree86-Xnest. If it's not included into your RH try to use
any rpm search
website like http://www.rpmseek.com for example.
BTW, you can also use xvnc. It has been discussed here on this
list a couple of days ago. Xvnc RH packages can also be found without a
problem and both these packages are included in my distro:
whereis Xvnc |cut -f2 -d' ' |xargs rpm -qf
vnc-server-4.0-0.beta4.1.4
whereis vncviewer |cut -f2 -d' ' |xargs rpm -qf
vnc-4.0-0.beta4.1.4
