Hi,
I was playing with the virtual keyboard in the notes application, quite
liking it. The word completion is nice since the suggested words appear
(as if) on the keyboard itself so I don't have to look elsewhere when
typing.
However, after each word selected from the suggestions, an
additional space is appended - which is fine, since most of the time
follows another word. But if there comes a comma, period, or if I want
to extend the word with -s or -ed or such, I could save a few taps if I
could tap the virtual key and drag shortly to the left.
Such a gesture would send a (backspace,key,space) sequence to the
application to do the trick. Currently, it sends backspace everywhere
within the virtual keyboard but on the space key, but I would want it to
behave differently - on the space key do backspace, and elsewhere the
backspace,key,space sequence.
Now the question is if I can do it, if you don't see some problems with
it. Eventually can someone point me to the vk code?
