I tried the rc7 upgrade, but it did not help,.. the control panel is still
missing.
also the 1200_Control_Panel.desktop does exist /etc/others-menu/

Now the names are fine, except that the whole control panel is missing and

that the application installer too..
I can only see the X-Terminal in applications list.
