Frantisek I think the cleanest way to deal with this is to keep 15(?) levels so the gui doesn't change but change the actual curve to be nonlinear inside the sysfs interface.
Does Nokia provide everything we need to install a modified kernel? brad > I hope the darkest level won't be too bright either.
