Well.. actually I do know why, but I want a solution to the problem
:-) What we can do to make it ship with the device? Today I've lost a
fight with some friends and we will have one less application in
python just because its not included by default :-(
Python is not included by default but is available in the
repositories. Just add the following in your application manager:
Web Address: http://repository.maemo.org
Distribution: mistral
Components: free non-free
My guess is python is not included simply for saving space.
