Or GThreads if you're using glib. (It's a thin wrapper on top of
pthreads anyway, but supposedly more portable.)

There is also GMarkupParser in glib. It might be suitable for some use
cases.

expat is on that list, as well as on the device.. Why do you say it is
unsupported?


Seems to be there, maybe my new eyes don't work that well after all :-)

Actually, first I checked xpat and afterwards I realized that xpat should be expat and I forgot that it's there.
