Richard, I ran into the same thing and ended up using xset to remap the key. Install the bluetooth keyboard plugin to get xset. You just need to create a file with this line in it and use it as an argument to xset: keysym Return = KP_Enter
The reason they did it that way was the center button on the D-pad for the 770 is mapped to return as well. It kind of makes sense but I would have preferred to have it be an config option. Larry On 11/26/06, Richard Heestand <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I have sucessfully connected a USB keyboard to my Nokia 770 (used posted solutions for the self powered hub and switch the 770 to host mode) and with two different model keyboards find that the enter key does not behave as expected. Depending upon the appliation the enter keyboard either makes the virtual keyboard visible/invisible or is ignored. Is there another step required to make the enter key work? It is very annoying to have to use both the keyboard for text and the stylis for "enter". From google searches it appears to me that this is also a problem for bluetooth keyboards? I don't want to sink the money into a bluetooth keyboard to find it has the same problem. Thanks
