I know that http://maemo.org/maemowiki/VideoEncoding explains how to encode video files for the 770. Are this specifications the same for the N800? If not, Where can I find the video specifications to encode video files for the N800?
They're very similar, although bitrates and resolutions can be upped a bit. For example, the built-in player has can play the "mplayer" preset from 770-encode[1], which was designed for mplayer on the 770. Of course, it can still play the "best" preset too (which is the best the 770's media player can play). No-one's catalogued the exact limits yet due to the irritating bug with video playback: https://maemo.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=991 HTH, Andrew [1] http://www.bleb.org/software/770/#encode -- Andrew Flegg -- mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] | http://www.bleb.org/ _______________________________________________ maemo-developers mailing list maemo-developers@maemo.org https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-developers
