They're very similar, although bitrates and resolutions can be upped a
bit. For example, the built-in player has can play the "mplayer"
preset from 770-encode[1], which was designed for mplayer on the 770.
Of course, it can still play the "best" preset too (which is the best
the 770's media player can play).

No-one's catalogued the exact limits yet due to the irritating bug
with video playback:
