It looks like the real issue is that the PowerVR folks haven't released 
a linux 2.6 driver for the chip (and reading
their web page, they don't intend to). That sucks. If Nokia can't lean 
on PowerVR to get a 3D driver for 2.6
out of them, then I think Nokia should consider a different chipset for 
the n800's successor. I think 3D support
is a major needed feature these days. It would also open up the door for 
serious gaming on the n800, and that
can't be a bad thing for sales...
