I have been trying to make Xephyr work with SUSE. However when i give this command:-
Xephyr :2 -host-cursor -screen 800x480x16 -dpi 96 -ac the screen just comes and disappears. and this is the message that I get on the shell:- anurag:/usr/bin # Xephyr :2 -host-cursor -screen 800x480x16 -dpi 96 -ac error opening security policy file /etc/X11/xserver/SecurityPolicy Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/misc, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/cyrillic, removing from li st! Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/100dpi/:unscaled, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/75dpi/:unscaled, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/100dpi, removing from list ! Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/75dpi, removing from list! Could not init font path element /var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueTyp e, removing from list! Fatal server error: could not open default font 'fixed' i am not sure whats going wrong. Also i could find SecurityPolicy file. Please let me know how to proceed forward. Thanks Anurag
