http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/4.0/INSTALL.txt http://andrew.daviel.org/n810-blog.html "writing applications" I was able to install the scratchbox environment without any trouble on Fedora Core 4. FC4 is too old to have Xephyr so I was not able to actually run graphical programs in scratchbox. Scratchbox includes the Debian tools dpkg, apt-get etc. and man pages for same; I could include them in my MANPATH on Fedora even if "man" itself was missing. I just needed to get my head around making packages instead of RPMs. You need the cross-compile environment anyway, since the N800 is ARM and most desktops are x86, and you build packages inside that then copy them to the tablet. BTW, the gdb debugger is available and works fairly well over SSH. -- Andrew Daviel, TRIUMF, Canada _______________________________________________ maemo-developers mailing list maemo-developers@maemo.org https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-developers
