This is link that Andre posted before http://wiki.maemo.org/Using_Fremantle_Widgets#Marking_Your_App_As_Portrait_Capable "The support flag tells Hildon that it is allowed to rotate your application. The request flag directly puts your application into portrait mode. It´s important to note that all visible windows must support portrait mode, otherwise the screen is not rotated."
