I've been developing using Qt Creator 1.3.1 (based on Qt 4.6) and using MADDE with Qt 4.5 to compile for the phone, using Ubuntu 9.10.
Obviously you will need to avoid using any Qt 4.6 specific code until Meamo and MADDE are updated.
