Lintian, with Nokia additions, is used by Nokia to do testing internally. I have set up a Maemian port of Lintian to lintian checks with Maemo specific tests. Much of lintian just does not apply to Maemo. Work has stalled since the community process never really wanted to commit time to the development of maemian.
