But right now enabling the extras-devel allows people to install qt applications compiled against libqt4-maemo5 because these packages are also available on the extras-devel repository. If you compile against libtqt4-core they can't be installed unless you manually install these "new" packages. > Remove apt-get remove libqt4-maemo5-core > and you will have only one Qt version. I did not realize that installing manually these packages I would replace the qt 4.5 on my device. Isn't that a bad idea? I assume they are not binary compatible and some other application I have installed that uses 4.5 will stop working, right? Also for the reason above I don't want to remove the libqt4-maemo5 packages.
