Hi,
I am sorry that my strategy does not meet your expectations. I am
also sorry I haven't come around to answering your last private mail
yet.

Despite Maemo being an Open Source project, not everything can be done in
the open.

I gave a talk at Linuxtag last weekend
(http://www.linuxtag.org/vcc/details.pl?id=321), similar to the impromptu
one I gave at FOSDEM. Both were well received. I had the chance to spend
several productive hours with the leaders of CACAO, Classpath and Kaffe.

My last post included a pointer to various screenshots. Going along
meeting your demands, what was novel there was SableVM and Swing on the
770, and Knopflerfish OSGi.

Prior to that only Felix OSGi was reported as running, and the screenshot
was from the emulator.

I've been working with Scratchbox since 2003 and it is indeed a great
tool. I've been acting as the bridge between Maemo and Classpath. That's
for the activities I can reveal at this point.

There is a lot more going on. I will post information according to my
schedule. Keep on the lookout.

Best Regards,
Philippe
