I was imprecise. I am perfectly content to leave my 770 charging
overnight. I do not turn it off at night (and neither I turn off my
phone).
What I meant was that I would be unhappy if I had to charge the tablet
more than once a day. "Always on" was a badly-phrased shorthand for
"always online", meaning "always connected to the WLAN".
