As for the arrows.  Closet on the Nokia I've found is if you update to the 
latest version of xterm ctrl-p and ctrl-n (previous and next) have buttons on 
the right hand side. 

For the other OS2005 had slocate... it seems it wasn't ported to current 
0S2006/7's ....
