I should also note that:

* It appears to have removed all osso-email stuff (which is a *bonus*
for claws-mail aficionados :)
* Installation was non-trivial, involving
  - apt-get install --reinstall on evolution-data-server
  - dpkg -i --force-overwrite on some packages

But it is (a) beta (b) wonderful

My install was eventually trivial; but I had to reflash first to fix a
broken package causing problems.

There's a note on the ITT Forums[1] I found useful:
"rtcomm seems will conflict with open-hand's applications (contacts, dates,
task) that uses evolution-data-server version 1.4.2.1.r554-3.

when rtcomm is installed, open-hand's applications will can not be installed
and display eds application missing. when open-hand's applications are
installed, rtcomm will not be installable."

So, if you're getting the "evolution-data-server package missing" error I
was originally, disable the Open-Hand repository, refresh your package list,
and understand some of their apps will no longer work. 'apt-get install
--reinstall evolution-data-server' may be necessary /after/ disabling the
Open-Hand repository.
