I used dropbear at first. It worked fine. Eventually, I dropped it in favor of openssh. It should be available in your application menu if you enable the 'Extras' repository. (Thanks Eero) In general, .debs ought to install if you choose 'open' when clicking on the link. Most of the programs available on https://garage.maemo.org install without too much trouble.
