I will look into the easy-deb-chroot stuff (running Debian since 1996 on all my systems:-). So far I thought chroot is only a toy and openoffice is far too heavy for realworld usage. How enduser friendly is such an installation. E.g. can it be configured that clicking on a ppt document in the browser opens OpenOffice as viewer right away? Do I have to start OO always from the cmd line or is there an easy way to make it showing up in any kind of menue? Many thanks, Rainer Am Freitag, 17.
