I think he's referring to the "Bookmarks" window. It appears by simply tapping the Web icon. In there you can type an URL and navigate to it or enter some text and it will be looked for in Google (as it explains by showing the Google icon). So if you enter an incorrect URL address, instead of getting error 404 you get a google search page result.
