No, GNOME uses /usr/share/pixmaps/backgrounds/gnome, that's where the GNOME upstream wallpaper is: libgnome2:/usr/share/pixmaps/backgrounds/gnome/background-default.jpg /usr/share/backgrounds is used by gnome-screensaver (only). > > and so on > -- Ahmad Samir
