hi, perl 5.14 migration is almost complete. a big thanks to sander85, spuhler & ahmad for their help to rebuild the binary modules!
at the time of writing, the only packages left to rebuild are the following: - perl-Alias this module is old (1999) and no more maintained upstream, so i added a conflicts: in perl to remove it. - perl-DBD-Firebird this module does not compile with perl 5.14: no success reported by any cpan testers. i've added a conflicts in perl to have a smooth transition too. it'll be updated when a new version is available upstream. - perl-MIME-Explode doesn't compile with perl 5.14, bug opened upstream (rt#66966). conflicts: added in perl, waiting for new version. - perl-PDA-Pilot from pilot-link package. i don't have a clue what's the problem. maybe it doesn't support 5.14. can her maintainer chime in? - perl-SWF from ming package. the problem may be from specifying LIBS on command-line, but i'm not sure. can her maintainer chime in please? - perl-SWISH-API from swish-e package. the problem may be from specifying OTPIMIZE, CCFLAGS, LDFLAGS and others on command-line, but i'm not sure. can her maintainer chime in please? thanks, jérôme
