When I plug in an 8G USB (fat32) thumbdrive - I get the following errors: Feb 7 11:58:34 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: new low-speed USB device number 7 using uhci_hcd Feb 7 11:58:34 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 Feb 7 11:58:34 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 Feb 7 11:58:34 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: new low-speed USB device number 8 using uhci_hcd Feb 7 11:58:34 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 Feb 7 11:58:35 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 Feb 7 11:58:35 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: new low-speed USB device number 9 using uhci_hcd Feb 7 11:58:35 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: device not accepting address 9, error -71 Feb 7 11:58:35 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: new low-speed USB device number 10 using uhci_hcd Feb 7 11:58:36 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: device not accepting address 10, error -71 Feb 7 11:58:36 localhost kernel: hub 3-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1
Although on other machines it works fine (both Mageia before the updates & Windows) What could this be? Thx, R.Fox
