You should have done a new release instead of patching...
It was the fastest way to get something out last night with for frozen
repo, so I did a quick fix.
And the correct fix needs more coding since arm does not support xz
compressed modules so we need to adapt for that too, and not blindly
recompress to .xz or search for .xz only...
