huh, i thought this was about the noarchs packages being symlinked to be available in both archs... i have no troubles about the skype noarch package being in i586 nonfree repos only... i think the best is in fact to have 32bit repos enabled in x86_64 installs, and having the GUI solve the problem with multiple versions of the same package (be they diff from preferred arch, or older versions) AL13N
