What about the documentation and all examples ? they were only in
latex-beamer package.
Maybe changing late-beamer into latex-beamer-doc will be better than
obsoletting it.

Not to mention.. if texlive has the functionality of -beamer, that
package should obsolete this, not task-obsolete
