I do not think so, so why would a DE be so different on that matter ?
The only case I can see is when the regular DE is broke in the devel
version and this case do not really apply to users of stable release.

Actually not the whole LXDE environment is installed, but only a desktop
manager is installed. LXDE actually works on pure GTK, it's a just in case
fallback, just like icewm. I'm not saying to install every computer with
complete
LXDE environment, but a just fallback WM/Desktop environment.
