This issue was bothering me, but I didn't know there was a campaign.
How long does it take, after signing, before one gets an e-mail with a
link to confirm that you
really signed?
It takes more time than I'm used to.

I got and clicked the link within seconds (just now) but the link said I had
joined a mailing list,
not that I had confirmed a signature!!!??
