Why?

I have tried ktorrent and vuze. Both produce the same martian source on eth0, source ip is same as net ip ( 192.168.1.21 ).

Turn off the bittorrent client and the martians go away.

The only thing unusual is, I'm using ipv6 and ipv4.

DNS, NTP, SMTP and a few other servers work OK.

All other clients seem to be fine ( mail, web, etc ).

Any pointers most welcome and, of course, I'll supply any info requested.

Jim
