[Mageia-discuss] Task bar

I have just installed Mageia. The task bar(?) along the bottom only 
fills 3/4 of the screen. How can I make it wider? I want more room where 
the desktop windows are displayed. Also I want 8 windows. However I can 
not find anyplace that allows me to add more windows.

Help appreciated.
